About FBSIAP

Family Benefit Society, which began on March 27, 2011 - is affiliated body and also a Welfare Wing of Indian Academy of Pediatrics - an academic institution with 40,000 members.

The motto and mission of Family Benefit Society of IAP is to provide a decent financial support to the unfortunate family nominees of the FBS member who dies from any and every Cause of Death. This Life Cover is amenable to the selected family nominee members till the last breath of the deceased FBS FAMILY MEMBER & it also grows in size as the FBS SOCIETY has more participating alive and valid members in it's domain. Today the Financial Support is Rs. NINE LAKHS and shall become larger as years pass by.

FBS Membership is restricted to all Life Members of CENTRAL IAP - till their 60th Birthday. All such eligible IAP Members must join FBS and secure an additional financial security for his / her beloved ones. No Health Status Certification is needed and the initial one-time Admission Fees vary with the current age of the Aspiring FBS Member.

Family Benefit Society It is a group of IAP members from All over India (about 2546 members), Non profitable service oriented and Benefits the Family members of Deceased IAP member financially.

The members pay the corpus joining fees at the time of registration and contribute Rs.450/- per death of one person annually. This will be provided to the Family of deceased person.

FAMILY BENEFIT SOCIETY of Central Indian Academy of Pediatrics (CIAP) is to provide financial help to the families of the members of FBS in case of death of a member.

The Mission is to care and share with transparency and sincerity.

VISION

To achieve 5000 (Five Thousand) membership as early as possible to give Death Benefit Fund (DBF) of more than RS.15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs) to the nominees of the deceased FBS members.
