It’s my immense pleasure that our FBS-IAP launching a fresh website of our Family Benefit Society at this juncture. I thank Dr S Srikrishna – Jt. Secretary cum Treasurer and Dr Kiran Makhija – Eb Member from Chhattisgarh for taking initiative and I hope this will beneficiare to all our FBS members.

I would like a few update details of our Family Benefit Society:
1. Membership Position:
As on 06.08.2024 is 2671
New members Enrolled in 2024- 20
Number of members Deceased in 2024- 06
Total number deceased in last 13 years are 92
We had invited Senior Citizens in IAP to join in our scheme in last year 28.02.2022 and have successfully enrolled
Total Amount Disbursed in 13 years is Rs. 6,74,55,921

2. Corpus and Fixed Deposits of FBS:
The Total Fixed Deposits we are having as on 31.12.2024 are Rs.10,99,22,102
The FD Amounts are distributed in the following banks.
Kotak Mahindra Bank – Rs. 2,77,77,472
HDFC Housing Finance Ltd – Rs. 3,50,00,000
State Bank of India – Rs. 4,43,94,630
Hudco Bonds – Rs. 25,00,000
Nabard – Rs. 2,50,000.

3. Benefits given to FBS members after their demise:
Total Amount Disbursed in 13 years is Rs.6,74,55,921
The amount distributed in Calendar Year is Rs.52,80,750

4. The present joining fees tariff for IAP-FBS is:

5. Fixed assets of FBS-IAP:
Having own office premises of about 1126 sft at Basheer Bagh, Hyderabad which was purchased in 2021. Our FBS Office is equipped with 2 desktops and 1 laptop.

6. Man power:
We are having 3 office staff – Office Superintendent, Dept Superintendent & Part - time Senior clerk.

7. Our All India Managing Committee Members:
We are having 44 All India Managing Committee Members elected / selected from IAP Members from All over India. As per our protocol we have two All India Managing Committee Meetings and one Annual General Body Meeting per calendar year.

8. Events conducted during the 2024:
A. We have conducted 28th AIMC meeting on 27th January 2024 at the PEDICON in Kochi, Kerala, Another AIMC Meeting was conducted on 10th & 11th August 2024 at Hyderabad, Telangana. We have also conducted 13th AGM of FBS on 27th January 2024 at the PEDICON in Kochi, Kerala.
B. New AIMC members of 2023-2026 were installed on 22.04.2023 at Hyderabad AIMC Meeting after successfully conduct of the election process.
C. Vigilance officer Dr Uthkarsh Sharma who was appointed by CIAP president.
D. The New CRC Committee was formed on 23rd April 2023 with Dr V P Goswami- Chairman, Dr Dhananjay R Shah, Dr Upendra Kinjawadekar, Dr G V Basavaraja, Dr S Krishna Murthy, Dr Sudhir Kumar Chaudhury and Dr Kishore Baindur. The CRC Committee has submitted their recommendations to the Chairman of FBS which are discussed and will be circulated to all the FBS members, later on will be discussed in AGM and finally ratified in SGM.
E. The FC Bill Collections for 2024 of Rs. 4550/- per FBS Member.
F. We have always promoted and popularized our FBS scheme in State Pedicon, Zonal Pedicon and National Pedicons. Thanks to CIAP for taking good initiatives to motivate all the IAP Members in joining FBS.
G. I sincerely thank our Chairman Dr Dhananjay R Shah for offering valuable advice and suggestions for better administration and thanks to CIAP President and Secretary for getting fully involved in our activities.
I also thank all our All India Managing Committee members for their valuable suggestions and participating regularly in our group.
And last but not least I thank our Office staff - Mrs. Sumalatha, MS Srimoni and Mr. Satish for doing tremendous job.
